I’m currently reading and enjoying “Discipline is Destiny” by Ryan Holiday. In it, he provides a rather challenging yet true observation about success.
“The secret to success in almost all fields is large, uninterrupted blocks of focused time.”
As you look at this week, do you have large, uninterrupted blocks of focused time? If not, how can you change that for next week? And the week after? How can you make this a consistent part of what you do and who you are?
Don’t listen to the excuses. Figure out a way, even if you have to start with small, uninterrupted blocks of focused time, and build from there.
The reality is that only a small percentage of people will actually do this.
Will you choose to be among that small percentage?
