In a hyper-critical, cynical world often known for what it’s against, let’s be a community of people who are known more for who and what we’re FOR. Here’s how we can live this out.
We leave things better than when we found them.
We are quick to listen.
We write thank you notes.
We lift the culture of our organizations through a spirit of service.
We encourage more than we criticize.
We are passionate about our personal growth. After all, the best gift we can give the people in our lives is the best version of us.
On Zoom calls, we’ll choose to be the one smiling at the camera. (At your next virtual meeting, take a look at the screen. Why is everyone so unhappy?)
We practice humility.
We are FOR the person who happens to be in front of us at that moment.
We refuse to give up on this world and move into despair.
After all, it’s why we’re here — a community of leaders changing our circle in the world by letting people know we’re in favor of them.
More repair. Less despair.
Heck, it’s also a lot more fun.
FOR You,
Jeff Henderson
